Community Outreach

At KCF, we strive to be a catalyst of Love in Cranbrook. We have worked to achieve this goal in several ways.

In 2007 we opened "The Refuge" men's shelter where we offer a warm bed, nourishing food, and an opportunity to learn how to access other services. We also continue to work with other service agencies in Cranbrook to find better solutions to the homelessness in Cranbrook. The shelter operates through donations.

Each of our Driven groups are encouraged to come up with ways to serve our community. They have served hot chocolate to strangers, put on a party for seniors, helped neighbors move and much more! It's a great way to get involved and put love into action!

Some of our other events have included a winter Kidz Karnival, Christmas dinner, and last year we joined with many churches in Cranbrook to put together Love Cranbrook Day. We are hoping to make this a yearly event see it grow to involve the whole city!

"..... and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." 1 Cor. 13:2
